Me? Use solids not prints?

A year ago THAT was unthinkable to me. SO many lucious prints, designs, colors...where does it end? Surprisingly I am finding much more design freedom in using mostly solids. I never would have believed this. Today I began a new quilt design with only 1 print and I am surprised to be happy doing it! I really thought I would be bored with solids but the focus becomes more of the overall design and less of the patterning within the fabrics. Here is where I am - we will see where it goes...
